<strong>Dr</strong> <strong>Radenko</strong> PEJOVIĆ, <strong>redovni</strong> <strong>profesor</strong>, rođen <strong>je</strong> <strong>1950.</strong> <strong>godine</strong> uMiljkovcu, Opština Plužine, Republika Crna Gora, od oca Radula i majkeMaruše, rođene Blago<strong>je</strong>vić. Osnovnu školu <strong>je</strong> završio u rodnom m<strong>je</strong>stu, asrednju tehničku školu u Podgorici. Diplomirao <strong>je</strong> na Građevinskomfakultetu u Sara<strong>je</strong>vu 1974. <strong>godine</strong>. Na istom fakultetu stekao <strong>je</strong> stepenmagistra 1986. <strong>godine</strong> i doktora nauka 1989. <strong>godine</strong>.Po diplomiranju zaposlio se u Institutu za materijale i konstrukci<strong>je</strong> Građevinskogfakulteta u Sara<strong>je</strong>vu, a nakon odsluženja vojnog roka 1976.<strong>godine</strong> biran <strong>je</strong> za asistenta pripravnika na Katedri za mehaniku, materijale i konstrukci<strong>je</strong>Građevinskog fakulteta u Sara<strong>je</strong>vu. 1979. <strong>godine</strong> izabran <strong>je</strong> u zvan<strong>je</strong> asistenta, a 1990. <strong>godine</strong>u zvan<strong>je</strong> docenta na istom fakultetu, gd<strong>je</strong> radi do 1992. <strong>godine</strong>. Uporedo sa radom nafakultetu radi i u Institutu za materijale i konstrukci<strong>je</strong> Građevinskog fakulteta u Sara<strong>je</strong>vu naposlovima istraživačkog i pro<strong>je</strong>ktantskog karaktera.Od 1992. <strong>godine</strong> radi na Građevinskom fakultetu u Podgorici, gd<strong>je</strong> <strong>je</strong> 1992. <strong>godine</strong> biran zadocenta, 1995. <strong>godine</strong> za vanrednog <strong>profesor</strong>a, a 2001. <strong>godine</strong> za redovnog <strong>profesor</strong>a. NaGrađevinskom fakultetu u Sara<strong>je</strong>vu na dodiplomskim studijama izvodio <strong>je</strong> nastavu izpredmeta Građevinska mehanika, Mehanika i Prethodno napregnute konstrukci<strong>je</strong>, a naGrađevinskom fakultetu u Mostaru iz predmeta Otpornost materijala. Na Građevinskomfakultetu u Podgorici izvodi nastavu iz predmeta Otpornost materijala i Prethodno napregnutei spregnute konstrukci<strong>je</strong> na dodiplomskim studijama, a iz predmeta Teorija plastičnosti iOdabrana poglavlja iz Prethodno napregnutih konstrukcija i spregnutih konstrukcija naposli<strong>je</strong>diplomskim i doktorskim studijama. Bio <strong>je</strong> na studijskom boravku u Moskvi (InstitutMISI). Rukovodilac <strong>je</strong> doktorskih i magistarskih studija na Građevinskom fakultetu uPodgorici.Na Institutu za materijale i konstrukci<strong>je</strong> Građevinskog fakulteta u Sara<strong>je</strong>vu bio <strong>je</strong> pomoćnikdirektora (1989/1990) i direktor (1990/1992). Na Građevinskom fakultetu u Podgorici bio <strong>je</strong>prodekan (1992/1994), dekan (1994/1998. i 2000/2004), direktor Instituta i šef Katedre za tehničkumehaniku i teoriju konstrukcija. Školske 1999/2000. <strong>godine</strong> obavljao <strong>je</strong> dužnostprorektora Univerziteta Crne Gore., a 2008. <strong>godine</strong> bio <strong>je</strong> kandidat za rektora UniverzitetaCrne Gore. Preds<strong>je</strong>dnik <strong>je</strong> Sav<strong>je</strong>ta za visoko obrazovan<strong>je</strong>. Bio <strong>je</strong> dopisni član Akademi<strong>je</strong>inžen<strong>je</strong>rskih nauka Srbi<strong>je</strong> i Crne Gore, a sada <strong>je</strong> <strong>redovni</strong> član Akademi<strong>je</strong> inžen<strong>je</strong>rskih naukaCrne Gore.Član <strong>je</strong> Od<strong>je</strong>l<strong>je</strong>nja tehničkih nauka Crnogorske akademi<strong>je</strong> nauka i um<strong>je</strong>tnosti. Bio <strong>je</strong> članVi<strong>je</strong>ća, Senata i Upravnog odbora, Univerziteta Crne Gore i Sav<strong>je</strong>ta za nauku i tehnološkirazvoj Republike Crne Gore. Aktivan <strong>je</strong> i u izdavačkoj d<strong>je</strong>latnosti gd<strong>je</strong> <strong>je</strong> član redakcionogodbora Građevinskog kalendara koga izda<strong>je</strong> Savez Inžin<strong>je</strong>ra i tehničara Jugoslavi<strong>je</strong>,izdavačkog sav<strong>je</strong>ta časopisa “Saopštenja” Instituta za ispitivan<strong>je</strong> materijala iz Beograda ičasopisa “Istraživanja” Građevinskog fakulteta iz Podgorice. Učestvovao <strong>je</strong> sa referatima nabrojnim naučnim i stručnim skupovima, držao predavanja po pozivu, uvodne referate i biočlan naučnih komiteta i organizacionih odbora. Na nekoliko seminara iz oblasti tehnologi<strong>je</strong>betona, pro<strong>je</strong>ktovanja, izvođenja, održavanja i sanaci<strong>je</strong> građevinskih ob<strong>je</strong>kata, koji suorganizovani za inžin<strong>je</strong>re, koji se bave ovom problematikom, učestvovao <strong>je</strong> kao predavač.Bio <strong>je</strong> potpreds<strong>je</strong>dnik Jugoslovenskog društva građevinskih konstruktera (JDGK), Jugoslovenskogdruštva za istraživan<strong>je</strong> materijala i konstrukcija (JUDIMK) i Jugoslovenskog


društva za visoke brane (JDV). Dobitnik <strong>je</strong> plakete Građevinskog fakulteta iz Podgorice,povel<strong>je</strong> počasnog člana JUDIMK-e i zaslužnog i počasnog člana JDGK.Objavio <strong>je</strong> tri posebne publikaci<strong>je</strong> i <strong>je</strong>dnu knjigu pod naslovom “Prethodno napregnuti beton”.Ova knjiga <strong>je</strong> u izv<strong>je</strong>snoj m<strong>je</strong>ri upotpunila oskudnu literaturu iz ove specifične oblasti. Uknjizi <strong>je</strong> sistematski i detaljno obrađena problematika prethodno napregnutog betona, polazećiod osnovnih principa, teorijskih analiza, savremenih saznanja i međunarodnih propisa ipreporuka.Oblast interesovanja i istraživanja <strong>profesor</strong>a Pejovića u širem smislu <strong>je</strong> teorija elastičnosti,reologija betona i betonske konstrukci<strong>je</strong>, građevinski materijali i sanacija građevinskihob<strong>je</strong>kata. N<strong>je</strong>govo uže područ<strong>je</strong> istraživanja <strong>je</strong> prethodno napregnuti beton i prethodnonapregnute i spregnute konstrukci<strong>je</strong>. Jedan od novih oblika sprezanja kojim se on bavi iistražu<strong>je</strong> <strong>je</strong> “ sprezan<strong>je</strong> betona betonom” odnosno sprezan<strong>je</strong> betona različitih starosi ideformacijskih karakteristika. Ova problematika <strong>je</strong> veoma aktuelna i nedovoljno istražena.Učestvovao <strong>je</strong> kao rukovodilac istraživanja ili istraživač u više naučno istraživačkih pro<strong>je</strong>kata.U okviru ovih pro<strong>je</strong>kata vršio <strong>je</strong> istraživanja problematike prethodnog naprezanja lameliranihdrvenih nosača, reologi<strong>je</strong> betona, prethodno napregnutih i spregnutih betonskih pres<strong>je</strong>ka ikonstrukivnih sistema i njihovog ponašanja pri dugotrajnim i kratkotrajnim dejstvima,ponašanja građevinskih elemenata i konstrukcija pri dejstvu zemljotresa i interakci<strong>je</strong>podgradne konstrukci<strong>je</strong> i st<strong>je</strong>nske mase u uslovima vremenski zavisnih deformacija.Prvi od ovih pro<strong>je</strong>kata bio <strong>je</strong> Prethodno naprezan<strong>je</strong> lameliranih drvenih nosača, ko<strong>je</strong> <strong>je</strong> po prviput obavl<strong>je</strong>no 1983. <strong>godine</strong> u Jugoslaviji na Građevinskom fakultetu u Sara<strong>je</strong>vu. Ovapionirska istraživanja su potvrdila opravdanost i mogućnost prim<strong>je</strong>ne prethodnog naprezanjadrveta, i u izv<strong>je</strong>snoj m<strong>je</strong>ri dala doprinos proračunu i konstruktivnom oblikovanju ovihkonstrukcija.N<strong>je</strong>gova najznačajnija istaživanja odnose se na ispitivan<strong>je</strong> prethodno napregnutih i spregnutihbetonskih pres<strong>je</strong>ka i konstruktivnih sistema. Kod ovih sistema istraživano <strong>je</strong> njihovo vrlosloženo ponašan<strong>je</strong> pri dugotrajnim i kratkotrajnim dejstvima što <strong>je</strong> obavl<strong>je</strong>no kroz obimnaeksperimentalna i teorijska istraživanja i analize u okviru izrade magistarske teze i doktorskedisertaci<strong>je</strong>. Predmet ovih istraživanja bili su složeni spregnuti “beton - beton“, pres<strong>je</strong>ci koji sesasto<strong>je</strong> od dva betona različite starosti i različitih deformacijskih karakteristika uzuključivan<strong>je</strong> prethodnog naprezanja. Ovaj problem <strong>je</strong> veoma složen s obzirom na vrlokompleksno visokoelastično deformacijsko ponašan<strong>je</strong> betona ko<strong>je</strong> zavisi od vremena. Krozova istraživanja došao <strong>je</strong> do određenih novih saznanja što <strong>je</strong> rezultiralo određenimpreporukama u pogledu računskog tretmana i konstruktivnog oblikovanja ovih elemenata ikonstrukcija.Objavio <strong>je</strong> sam i sa saradnicima preko 70 naučnih i stručnih radova u međunarodnim idomaćim časopisima i na međunarodnim i domaćim kongresima, konferencijama isimpozijumima. Kroz ove radove prezentirana <strong>je</strong> n<strong>je</strong>gova naučnoistraživačka i stručnaaktivnost.U okviru veoma obimne stručne aktivnosti, sam ili za<strong>je</strong>dno sa saradnicima, učestvovao <strong>je</strong> napreko sto stručnih pro<strong>je</strong>kata. Za<strong>je</strong>dno sa saradnicima učestvovao <strong>je</strong> na nekoliko međunarodnihi domaćih konkursa. Na međunarodnom konkursu za izradu varijantnih r<strong>je</strong>šenja za prelazpreko Bokokotorskog zaliva otkupl<strong>je</strong>no <strong>je</strong> n<strong>je</strong>govo r<strong>je</strong>šen<strong>je</strong>, a na pozivnom konkursu zagradski most preko ri<strong>je</strong>ke Škudre u Kotoru osvojio <strong>je</strong> prvo m<strong>je</strong>sto.Za<strong>je</strong>dno sa saradnicima radio <strong>je</strong> na statičkim i dinamičkim analizama najsloženijihinžen<strong>je</strong>rskih ob<strong>je</strong>kata. Posebno se ističe izrada matematičkog modela i dinamičke sigurnosti i


praćenja ponašanja betonskih lučnih brana Piva i Grančarevo, kao i statička i dinamičkaanaliza rashladnog tornja TE Pl<strong>je</strong>vlja vodeći računa o posto<strong>je</strong>ćoj geometrijskoj imperfekciji.Bio <strong>je</strong> pro<strong>je</strong>ktant konstrukci<strong>je</strong> velikog broja novih ob<strong>je</strong>kata kao što su mostovi, stambene iposlovne zgrade, robne kuće, škole i slično.U svom radu veoma usp<strong>je</strong>šno se bavio problematikom trajnosti i sanaci<strong>je</strong> građevinskihkonstrukcija. Kroz objavl<strong>je</strong>ne radove iz ove oblasti i kroz izradu velikog broja veoma složenihi originalnih sanacionih r<strong>je</strong>šenja u izv<strong>je</strong>snom smislu dao <strong>je</strong> doprinos razvoju i unapređenjuove oblasti.Kao n<strong>je</strong>govi najusp<strong>je</strong>šniji sanacioni pro<strong>je</strong>kti mogu se istaći: Ploča platoa Sportskog centraSkenderija u Sara<strong>je</strong>vu, Diverzijom oštećeni mostovi preko ri<strong>je</strong>ke Save u Bosanskom Šamcu ipreko ri<strong>je</strong>ke Neretve u Žitomisliću kod Mostara, Fabrika azotnih đubriva u Lukavcu kodTuzle, Žel<strong>je</strong>znički most Trebal<strong>je</strong>vo na pruzi Beograd – Bar, Silos za žito u Baru, Huseinpašina džamija u Pl<strong>je</strong>vljima i most Blaža Jovanovića preko ri<strong>je</strong>ke Morače u Podgorici.Ožen<strong>je</strong>n <strong>je</strong>, ima suprugu Ivu i kćerke Anu i Jelenu.<strong>Radenko</strong> PEJOVIĆ, PhD, Full professor, born in 1950 in Miljkovac, municipality Plužine,Republic of Montenegro. His father's name is Radule and mother's name is Maruša, maidenname Blago<strong>je</strong>vić. He completed elementary school in his hometown, a secondary technicalschool in Podgorica. He graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Sara<strong>je</strong>vo in 1974.At the same University he gained his MSc degree in 1986 and PhD degree in 1989 year.Upon graduation he was employed at the Institute of Materials and Structures of the Facultyof Civil Engineering in Sara<strong>je</strong>vo, and after completing his military service in 1976 he wasemployed as the probationary assistant at the Department of Mechanics, Materials andStructures at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Sara<strong>je</strong>vo. In 1979th he was elected to theposition of assistant, and in 1990 as assistant professor in the same University, where heworked until 1992. Parallel to his work at the Faculty he worked for the Institute for Materialsand Structures of the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Sara<strong>je</strong>vo on researches and designingcharacter.Since 1992 he works at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Podgorica, where he has beenappointed, in 1992, as Assistant professor. In 1995 worked as Associate professor and in 2001as Full professor. At the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Sara<strong>je</strong>vo, in undergraduate studies,he held lectures in Construction mechanics, Mechanics and Pre-stressed structures, and at theFaculty of Civil Engineering in Mostar in Strength of materials. At the Faculty of CivilEngineering in Podgorica he teaches Strength of Materials and Pre-stressed and compositestructures for undergraduate studies, and the sub<strong>je</strong>ct Theory of Plasticity and Selectedchapters from Pre-stressed and composite structures for postgraduate and doctoral studies. Hewas on studying in Moscow (Institute MISI). He is Head of the master and PhD studies at theFaculty of Civil Engineering in Podgorica.At the Institute for Materials and Structures of Faculty of Civil Engineering in Sara<strong>je</strong>vo hewas the Assistant Director (1989/1990) and Director (1990/1992). At the Faculty of CivilEngineering in Podgorica he was vice Dean (1992/1994), Dean (1994/1998 and 2000/2004),Director of the Institute and Head of the Department of Engineering Mechanics andConstruction Theory. In 1999/2000 he served as vice-rector of the University of Montenegro,and in 2008 he was a candidate for the Rector of the University of Montenegro. He is thechairman of the Council for Higher Education. He was a correspondent member of theAcademy of Engineering Sciences of Serbia and Montenegro, and now is a regular member ofthe Academy of Engineering Sciences of Montenegro.


He is a member of the Department of Technical Sciences of Montenegrin Academy ofSciences and Arts. He was a member of the Council, Senate and Board of Directors,University of Montenegro and the Council for Scientific and Technological Development ofthe Republic of Montenegro. He is active in publishing activities where is a member of theEditorial Board of the Civil engineering calendar, which is issued by the Association of CivilEngineers and Technicians of Yugoslavia, editorial council of the journal ‘Saopšten<strong>je</strong>’ of theInstitute for Materials Research in Belgrade and of the journal ‘Istrazivanja’ of the Faculty ofCivil Engineering in Podgorica. He participated with his own studies at many scientificmeetings, held lectures, introductory essays and was a member of scientific committees andorganizing committees. He has participated as a lecturer at several seminars on concretetechnology, design, implementation, maintenance and repair of buildings, which wereorganized for the engineers who deal with these issues.He was vice chairman of the Yugoslav Association of Structural Engineers (JDGK), theYugoslav Association for Materials Research and Structures (JUDIMK) and the YugoslavSociety for Large Dams (JDV). He received the plaque of the Faculty of Civil Engineering inPodgorica, Charter as Honorary Member of JUDIMK and meritorious and honorary memberof JDGK.He has published three separate publications and a book entitled ‘Pre-stressed Concrete’. Thisbook is to some extent complement the sparse literature in this specific area. The booksystematically and thoroughly examines the issue of pre-stressed concrete, based on generalprinciples, theoretical analysis, contemporary knowledge and international regulations andrecommendations.The area of interest and research of professor Pejović in a broader sense is the theory ofelasticity, rheology of concrete and concrete structures, construction materials and repair ofstructures. His research interest is the pre-stressed concrete and pre-stressed and compositestructures. One of the new forms of coupling in which he deals with and explores is the‘coupling of the concrete with concrete’ or coupling of different age concrete and withdeformation characteristics. This issue is very topical and unexplored.He participated as a research manager or researcher in several scientific research pro<strong>je</strong>cts.Within these pro<strong>je</strong>cts, he carried out the research of the issues of pre-stress of laminatedtimber carriers, concrete rheology, pre-stressed, and composite concrete sections andstructural systems and their behavior at long and short term effects, the behavior of buildingcomponents and structures during seismic activity and interaction of timbering structure androcky soil mass in terms of time dependent deformations.The first of these pro<strong>je</strong>cts was the Pre-stressing of laminated timber carriers, which was firstperformed in 1983 in Yugoslavia at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Sara<strong>je</strong>vo. Thispioneering research has confirmed the validity and applicability of the pre-stressed wood, andto some extent contributed to the estimation and structural design of these structures.His most important researches related to the examination of pre-stressed and compositeconcrete sections, and structural systems. Within these systems it was studied their verycomplex behavior in long-term and short-term effects of what has been done throughextensive experimental and theoretical researches and analysis in the preparation of mastertheses and PhD dissertations. The sub<strong>je</strong>ct of these investigations were complex composite‘concrete – concrete’, cross-sections that consist of two concretes of different ages anddifferent deformation characteristics with the inclusion of the pre-stress. This problem is verycomplex due to the very complex high-elastic deformation behavior of concrete, whichdepends on the weather. Through these researches he has come to some new knowledge


which resulted in specific recommendations regarding the accounting treatment and thestructural design of these elements and structures.He published alone and with co-workers over 70 scientific studies in international andnational journals and at international and national congresses, conferences and symposiums.Through these works he presented his scientific research and professional activity.Within very extensive professional activities, alone or together with associates, he participatedin over one hundred research pro<strong>je</strong>cts. Together with co-workers participated in severalinternational and domestic competitions. At the international competition for creation ofalternative solutions to cross the bay of Boka Kotorska his solution was purchased, and at theContest for the city bridge over the river Škudra in Kotor he won the first place.Together with co-workers he worked on the static and dynamic analyses of the most complexengineering structures. It is particularly noteworthy the development of mathematical modeland dynamic security and tracking behavior of concrete arch dams Piva and Grančarevo, aswell as static and dynamic analysis of cooling tower of thermo-electrical plant Pl<strong>je</strong>vlja, takinginto account the existing geometric imperfections.He was the designer of the construction of a large number of new facilities such as bridges,residential and commercial buildings, shopping centers, schools and the like.In his work he very successfully dealt with the problems of durability and repair of buildingstructures. Through published works in this field and through the development of a largenumber of highly complex and original repair solutions in a sense, he has contributed to thedevelopment and improvement of this scientific area.As his most successful renovation pro<strong>je</strong>cts can be noted: The board plateau of sports centerSkenderija in Sara<strong>je</strong>vo, By diversion damaged bridges over the river Sava in Bosanski Šamacand the Neretva River near Mostar in Žitomislić, Nitrogen fertilizer factory in Lukavac nearTuzla, Railway bridge Trebal<strong>je</strong>vo on the railway line Belgrade - Bar, The grain silo in Bar,Hussein Pasha Mosque in Pl<strong>je</strong>vlja and the bridge Blažo Jovanović over the river Morača inPodgorica.He is married, he has a wife Iva and daughters Ana and Jelena.
