Mike Boyce opens<br />

GSH London office<br />

Fast-expanding FM and energy services<br />

provider, GSH has appointed well-known<br />

industry figure, Mike Boyce, as its Sales &<br />

<strong>Market</strong>ing Director responsible for heading up<br />

its new office in the West End. GSH already<br />

operates a number of major contracts in the<br />

capital and Mike’s role will be to strengthen<br />

its presence by targeting the financial, legal,<br />

media and pharmaceutical sectors, amongst<br />

others.<br />

Mike joins after fourteen years as Group Sales &<br />

<strong>Market</strong>ing Director with building services and<br />

maintenance company, Planned Maintenance<br />

Engineering (PME), during which time the company’s<br />

turnover increased fourfold. He was<br />

attracted by GSH’s innovative approach to<br />

client management and advances in service provision<br />

in areas like ICT, energy services and regulatory<br />

conformance.<br />

Management achieves<br />

excellent customer<br />

satisfaction rating<br />

Pickfords Records Management, a member of<br />

the SIRVA Group of Companies, has announced<br />

the results for its 2005 Customer Satisfaction<br />

Survey.<br />

The survey, which was carried out by The<br />

Leadership Factor an independent market<br />

research agency based in Yorkshire, involved a<br />

sample of customers from across the UK and<br />

Republic of Ireland. The overall Satisfaction<br />

Score for Pickfords Records Management was<br />

83.9% (+/- 2.0 accuracy). This represents a<br />

0.5% increase on their 2004 result of 83.4%.<br />

“I am delighted with our results,” said Mr Frank<br />

Hopping - Managing Director of SIRVA Business<br />

Europe, “the increase was in line with our predictions<br />

and the recommendations on The<br />

Leadership Factor. We are obviously operating<br />

at the top end of the satisfaction ratings and<br />

large increases are not realistic, we are very<br />

happy with a steady improvement year on<br />

year.”<br />

The score of 83.9% places Pickfords Records<br />

Management in the top 18% of UK based service<br />

companies - based on independent research and<br />

analysis carried out by The Leadership Factor.<br />

OCS extends contract<br />

OCS Resolution Security has extended its contract<br />

with Rotherham General Hospital NHS<br />

Trust, in an agreement to provide security and<br />

car park management solutions to the site.<br />

For the past two years OCS has been working at<br />

Rotherham as part of a progressive partnership<br />

focusing on change and meeting objectives to<br />

provide a secure and safe environment for staff,<br />

patients and visitors. The good work by the OCS<br />

team has led to the agreement of a long-term<br />

contract through to 2011.<br />

OCS is working with the Trust to offer alternative<br />

solutions to its on-site car parking issues,<br />

including the provision of barriers, advice on<br />

pay-by-foot and revenue collection. In addition,<br />

the company is providing a full portfolio of security<br />

systems, including CCTV, access control and<br />

communication.<br />

OCS chief executive, Chris Cracknell, said: “I am<br />

extremely pleased to see that this diverse security<br />

contract has been extended, especially as<br />

we have built an excellent working relationship<br />

with the Trust over the past two years.<br />

“With the acquisition of Resolution Security<br />

Services last year, we have broadened our security<br />

service offering to include corporate investigation,<br />

VIP <strong>protect</strong>ion and electronic de-bugging.<br />

We are securing an increasing number of<br />

contracts offering integrated security solutions<br />

across the UK.”<br />

to the Trust by OCS, including a conflict resolution<br />

training course, and the security manager’s<br />
