Twyford Bushboard launch
new healthcare range
Twyford Bushboard has launched a healthcare
range comprehensive in product due to the link
with Europe’s largest producer of sanitaryware,
Twyford. The Ready Plumbed Modules for healthcare,
now in their 4th generation, have been
specifically designed for hospitals and medical
premises and are up to 12 times faster to install
than timber framed solutions. With 10,000 RMP
systems already installed across the country
since 2003, Twyford Bushboard look set to
become the first choice for hospital projects.
The new range consists of four mounting configurations
Boxed Out, Between Wall, Aperture and Semirecessed.
Standing proud of solid or partitioned
walls to conceal services supplied through floors,
ceilings or walls, Boxed Out units provide the ideal
solution for both new build and refurbishment projects.
Between Wall units create an entire wall
duct where more complex configurations are
required, making them perfect for disabled facilities
and assisted areas. The Aperture system fits
within a partition wall, with the frame finishing
flush to the surface and uses services supplied within
the wall whilst Semi -recess are suitable for
areas where there is insufficient space within the
partitioning system for a full boxed out unit. The
sanitaryware available ranges from clinical wash-

Honeywell has added the TM300
to its range of thermostatic mixing
valves (TMVs), which prevents
scalding water being delivered
from taps and showers. The
TM300 is certified by BuildCert to
the TMV2 specification and also
by WRAS for use with potable
water. It is one of very few TMV2
valves certified for use with the
full range of bathroom appliances:
showers, washbasins,
bidets and bathtubs.
The TM300 is scale-resistant and
designed for “under-bath” installation
on both high and low pressure
systems, such as in private and
housing association dwellings,
hand basins through to janitorial units and
scrub up troughs. The units are delivered complete,
including rigid aluminium frames, access
panels, pipework and sanitaryware ensuring
significant savings on installation time. The
wipe clean aluminium extrusions provide the
rigid framework that supports sanitaryware
and surface panels. The design reduces joins
to the minimum and ensures all surfaces finish
flush. High precision factory assembly closes
remaining joins far tighter than possible with
onsite construction and robust anodised corner
extrusions protect panels from serious damage.

The Honeywell TM200VP continues
to be available for installations
requiring a higher certified valve
(TMV3), such as in hospitals, NHS
and private nursing homes, and
schools for the severely disabled.
The TM300 employs a highly sensitive
wax element which controls
the hot and cold water inlets to
provide a safe uniform temperature
between 38 and 46 degrees C,
as set by the installer. In addition,
it ensures safety by cutting off the
hot water inlet automatically if the
cold supply fails.
The body and connection parts are
of chrome-plated dezincified resistant
brass (DZR), with a high
impact resistant clear plastic locking
cap. Internal parts are scaleresistant,
manufactured from high
temperature plastic and stainless
steel.
The TM300 has 22mm compression
fittings and flanged connector on
all three ports. Check valves are
also provided on the hot and cold
inlets to prevent cross circulation
when there is a difference in supply
