12th <strong>Annual</strong> <strong>YFPE</strong>, Inc.Golf TournamentWhat a great day for golf! On June 22, 20<strong>11</strong>, the 12th <strong>Annual</strong><strong>YFPE</strong>, Inc. Golf Tournament was held at Kiskiack Golf Club in Williamsburg.Twenty four teams enjoyed a continental breakfast, a challenginground of golf and lunch. Through the cooperative efforts of areabusinesses, the tournament was a huge success. The tournamentnetted proceeds of over $20,000. Onehundred percent of the net proceeds willfund student scholarships, teacher grantsand recognition of innovation and excellencein education scholarships.For the eighth consecutive year, Walmart Distribution Center participated and was a tournament eventsponsor. In addition, Bay Electric Co., Inc. played a major role as an event sponsor for the third year. Auto Hauswas a first time Hole-In-One sponsor and George Washington University was a new Gold Sponsor this year.“This past year, we touched the lives of many <strong>York</strong> <strong>County</strong> students, teachers and staff through recognitionof excellence through the foundation’s scholarships, grants, student resource development funds andvarious awards and honors,” remarked Peggy Myatt, <strong>YFPE</strong>, Inc. Liaison/Director.A special recognition is extended to everyone who supported the <strong>YFPE</strong>,Inc. Golf Tournament.
