Issue 9 November 2011New waves in the Doxa Deo FamilyCelebrating God’s gift to theworld this ChristmasAlan Platt (Visionary Leader)NEWDoxa Deo website Have a look! www.doxadeo.co.zaAs we bring 2011 to a close I want to thank each person who made him or herself available to be aninstrument of God within the Doxa Deo dream. Thank you to every team member for stayingcommitted as we navigated a great season in the history of the dream God entrusted our ministrywith. We also salute our faithful partners who impacted so many lives with the grace of God.In this season about halfof the planet will becelebrating Christmas! Many do so oblivious to thereal story of the gift of God toCelebrate Christ!Rest well.Enjoy your family.humanity. Jesus is the complete, entire and final word of God. God has nothing more to saythan what He said in Christ! We have witnessed so many wellintentioned believers waiting for a new word, a new waveand even a new prophesy – swept to and fro by every windof “new revelation”.To wait on another word or another event, is to misinterpretand consequently devalue what God has said in Christ. When the Word became flesh, it was not just a portion of theWord being revealed to mankind, it was the absoluterevelation. Jesus is not just another piece of God’scommunication to man. No! He is the full and completerevelation of God; the crescendo of His conversation withman.I pray that you enter this season growing in this revelation.‘But thanks be unto God for His unspeakable gift’ 2Cor 9:10Celebrate Christ. Rest well. Enjoy your family. We deeply love and appreciate you all.Alan, Leana, Duncan and Amy.Join Alan on Facebook!

The friendly facesof Karel and Marinda Botha (Campus Pastor, Auckland) and AJ(Ministry Leader, Auckland) made our arrival a memorableexperience. Within a record time of 10 days we managed to settlein! Even before we came to New Zealand we knew that God had aplan and purpose for our lives in this beautiful country.managing a campus and ministering on Sundays, Karel and I oftenhave to attend Skype meetings with the Doxa Deo Family inPretoria. Due to the 12 hour difference Karel and I often findourselves working in the middle of the night or in the early hours ofthe morning. Guess that is part of the fun! New Zealand is really onthe other side of the world!Auckland Campus is young and vibrant. We recently consolidatedthe two ministry points into one to form a fully fledged campussituated in North Shore, Auckland. With thousands of SouthAfricans living in North Shore the campus started addressing theirneeds on several levels through the Young Adults Ministry,Metamorpho and Kiwi Friend.
