Section 9 DEFINITIONS (continued)Yard, Rear: Is a yard extending across the full width of the lot, the depth of which is the minimumhorizontal distance between the rear lot, ordinary high water line or the edge of the easement and a lineparallel thereto.Yard, Side: Is an open, unoccupied space on the same lot with the building and between the buildingline and the side lot line.Zone: A specific use classification established by this <strong>Ordinance</strong> which limits or permits various andspecific uses. Means the same as "District" in ARS 11-801.<strong>Zoning</strong> Permit: Shall be a permit for designation of uses for a parcel of land as defined in total as a"Building Permit" on ARS 11-808.<strong>Zoning</strong> Use Permit: Permit required by certain sections of this <strong>Ordinance</strong> for uses that may, under thecircumstances of a specific case, be permissible but use in general may not.- 20 -
