Learn thebasics of ceramics, includingpress molding and wheelthrowing. You will createfunctional bowls andplates and make a cupon the pottery wheel.You will also explore the wider world of sculpture andcreate an abstract sculptural piece. All work producedwill be yours to take home!Are you interested in photography? Do youown a digital camera and want to learn moreabout how to use it to create fabulousphotos? If so, then this class is for you!You will learn the basics of a digital camera,composition, and light. You will also learnsimple editing techniques and generate ideasabout how to use photos in a creative way.You will need your own digital camera alongwith its USB cord and a portable thumbdrive. Studentswill learn the ins and outs of choosing the right music,auditioning skills, beginning vocal technique, exploringchoreography, and “selling” the song.DIY CraftsFor girls entering grades 6-8June 10-138:30 - 11:30 a.m.We will investigate the science involved in some of yourfavorite crafts and hobbies. Campers will be groupedaccording to age and experience to maximize their individual learning experience.Attention will also be directed to teamwork, leadership, and having FUN! Campers will be taughtthe skills and techniques of dance. Camperswill be grouped according to age and danceability to maximize their camp experience.No dance experience is necessary.


LACROSSEThe <strong>Assumption</strong> GreenSession IFor girls entering grades 5-9June 19-228:30 - 10:30 a.m.<strong>Assumption</strong>’s lacrosse camp is designed toteach and develop the fundamental skills ofthe game: throwing, catching, cradling, shooting,feeding, ground balls, and offensive and defensiveskills while focusing on improving participants’level of confidence. Our camp offers playersthe opportunity to improve their stick skills andconceptual understanding of the game of lacrossethrough challenging drills, skill building activities, andfull-field scrimmages. The camp staff includesthe AHS coaching staff, along with varsity andrising JV players.soccerThe <strong>Assumption</strong> GreenFor girls entering grades 5-9June 10-136:00 - 8:30 p.m.The camp will offer instruction in the basicintermediate skills of soccer. Campers willlearn drills, techniques, and game strategies.In addition, campers will become knowledgeableof game rules and teamwork.
