votes cast were in favor of the issuance of this bond and of the series of
which it is one, and by further authority of proceedings duly and lawfully had
by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Oxford, Mississippi.

It is hereby certified, recited, and represented that all acts, con-
ditions, and things required to be done, precedent to and in the issuance of
this bond, in order to make the same a legal, valid, and binding obligation
of said District, have been done, have happened, and have been performed in
due and regular time, form, and manner, as required by law; that the amount of
this bond and the issue of which it is one, together with all other outstand-
ing indebtedness of said District, does not exceed any statutory or constitu-
tional limit of indebtedness; and that due provision has been and will be made
for the annual levy and collection of a tax upon all the taxable property with-
in said District sufficient to pay the principal of this bond at maturity and
the interest hereon as it accrues.
TN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Oxford Municipal Separate School District
of Lafayette County, MisSissippi, acting herein by and through the Mayor and
Board of Aldermen of the City of Oxford, Mississippi, its governing authority,
has caused this bond to be executed by the signature of the Mayor of said City,
attested by the City Clerk of said City, under the corporate seal of said City,
and has caused the annexed interest coupons to be executed by the facsimile
signatures of said officers, and this bond to be dated the first day of Dec-
ember, 1969.
