Walk away. Gambleresponsibly.”;(b) “Don’t let the game play you. Stay in control. Gambleresponsibly.”;(c) “Stay in control. Leave before you lose it. Gambleresponsibly.”;(d) “You know the score. Stay in control. Gamble responsibly.”;(e) “Know when to stop. Don’t go over the top. Gambleresponsibly.”;( f ) “Think of the people who need your support. Gambleresponsibly.”;“gambling area” means a public area of an office or agency in whichprovision is made for people to prepare to enter or participate inlotteries, to enter or participate in lotteries and to await theoutcome of their entry or participation in lotteries;“gambling rules” means the rules from time to time in force undersection 18 of the State Lotteries Act 1966;“helpline card” means a card of approximately 9 cm by 5 cm giving thename and telephone number of a widely available gamblingreferral service, identified by its usual name;“helpline sticker” means a sticker giving the name and telephonenumber of a widely available gambling referral service, identifiedby its usual name.6
Version No. 003 Version date: 29 July 2011State Lotteries Responsible Gambling Code of Practice(South Australia)Clause 12(2) For the purposes of rotating the six expanded warning messages over 3years, the gambling provider will—(a) to the greatest extent practicable, always use the same expandedwarning message at the same time;(b) to the greatest extent practicable, use an expanded warningmessage for six months at a time;(c) take reasonable steps to consult with other gambling providersrequired to use expanded warning message with a view toensuring, to the greatest extent practicable, that all gamblingproviders are using the same expanded warning message at thesame time.Sub-clause (2)inserted by SLNotice No. 1 of2008, cl. 5(2)12. Operative dates and transitional(1) This code comes into operation on 30 April 2004.(2) For the purposes of clause 10—(a) the gambling provider will be taken to be in compliance with theclause within the first 12 months after its commencement if, by theend of that period, 75% of all people at that time involved inselling its gambling products have received problem gamblingtraining; and(b) a person will be deemed to have received problem gamblingtraining if the person has received responsible gambling training(however described) in connection with employment in a hotel orclub in respect of which a gaming machine licence is in forceunder the Gaming Machines Act 1992.(3) The provisions of—(a) clause 11(2)—as inserted by Code Alteration (State Lotteries)(Responsible Gambling) (No. 1) 2008; and(b) clauses 4(1), 5(1), 5(1), 5(2)(a), 10(5)(a), 10(7) and 11(1)—asamended by Code Alteration (State Lotteries) (ResponsibleGambling) (No. 1) 2008—apply generally from 1 December 2008.Sub-clause (3)inserted by SLNotice No. 1 of2008, cl. 613. Application to agentsIn respect of the provision of the gambling provider’s gambling productsby an agent, the gambling provider will ensure that the actions of its7
