Robust constructionThe Spectroquant ® Multy colorimeter featuresan ergonomically designed and acid-resistantkeyboard as well as a large-format graphicsdisplay. Temperature-compensated LEDs withinterference filters and an internal referencechannel (two-beam technology) supply resultswith the highest conceivable accuracy at sixdifferent wavelengths (430 nm, 530 nm, 560 nm,580 nm, 610 nm, and 660 nm). The uniquelydesigned optics system permits the automaticselection of the required wavelength withoutany moveable parts whatsoever being involved.The power is supplied in the form of easy-toexchangestandard rechargeable batteriesor the universal mains adapter. Thanks to theintelligent recharging control feature that isintegrated in the instrument, it’s possible torecharge the batteries while the unit is feedingoff the mains supply without having to removethem. Alternatively the instrument can alsobe operated without the mains adapter usingalkaline manganese batteries. This makes theSQ Multy colorimeter optimally suited for eachand every kind of use, no matter whether onthe laboratory workbench on directly on-site.Watertight qualityThe entire instrument, the measurementcompartment, and the battery compartment areentirely watertight and thus prevent any waterfrom coming into contact with the electroniccomponents.Simple to useThe Spectroquant ® Multy colorimeter can storeup to 1,000 separate measurement resultsincluding the date, the time, and the data-setnumber, information that can be easilytransmitted to a PC or printer via the integratedRS232 interface.The device comes in a practical carrycase andis completely supplied with seven conventionalrechargeable batteries, mains adapter, integratedrecharging unit, three 16-mm and three 24-mmround cells, cell adapter, and a data-transmissioncable for linking the instrument to a PC orprinter.Six round cells (three 16 mm andthree 24 mm) are supplied withthe instrument.13
