FAQ List of ETL EU CertificationQ: What is the difference between the ETL EU Mark compared to the CE declaration?A: The ETL EU mark is a proprietary, 3 rd party certification mark – provided only by Intertek – as proof ofcompliance to EU safety standards and directives. By contrast, CE Marking allows for self-declaration bymanufacturers and an independent testing laboratory is not required for certification. The ETL EUMark provides a manufacturer with the ability to demonstrate that his product has been independentlyverified and is truly safe.Q: Will every product submitted receive the ETL EU Mark?A: The ETL EU Mark is designed to be a third-party assurance of compliance to EU safety standards.
