In this game, theoffensive team plays for a touchdown through a series of five plays. Running and passing playsThe BasicsA coin toss determines first possession.The offensive team takes possession of the ball at its 5-yard line and has five plays to score. Ifthe offense fails to score, the ball changes possession and the new offensive team takes over onits 5-yard line.All possession changes, except interceptions, start on the -yard line. Interceptionsmay be run back.Field dimensions are: 30 yards long X 30 yards wide with 5 yard end zonePlayers and <strong>Game</strong>s <strong>Rules</strong>Each team will consist of 8-10 players. The coach will be the quarterback for the team to assistthe players and the flow of the game.Once a team scores, then the scoring team has the opportunity to go for an extra-point 7 yardsfrom the end-zone.Coaches must ALTERNATE AND ROTATE all players to run OR catch the ball.<strong>Game</strong> length will be four 7 minute quarters with a running clock.Halftime will be 3 minutes.The main purpose is to introduce the beginning athletes to the gameof flag football and most importantly to have FUN!!!
