ConclusionOur proposed schemes are compared with thefamily of alpha-trimmed average histograms,which is a video segment descriptor in MPEG-7.Experimental results show that both the k-TMOFand k-pTMOF can achieve the best performancewhen k=3,and this scheme outperforms the alphatrimmedaverage histogram representation forvideo retrieval.<strong>Computer</strong> <strong>Graphics</strong> & <strong>Interactive</strong> <strong>Techniques</strong> <strong>Lab</strong>19
