3OverviewThis section introduces the overall layout and operation of the CrossStudio integrateddevelopment environment.CrossStudio standard layoutCrossStudio's main window is divided into the following areas:•Title bar Displays the name of the current file being edited and the activeworkspace.•Menu bar Dropdown menus <strong>for</strong> editing, building, and debugging yourprogram.•Toolbars Frequently used actions are quickly accessible on toolbars below themenu bar.•Editing area A tabbed or MDI view of multiple editors and the HTML viewer.•Docked windows CrossStudio has many windows which can be docked to theleft of, to the right of, or below the editing area. You can configure whichwindows are visible when editing and debugging. The figure shows the projectexplorer, targets window, and output window.•Status bar At the bottom of the window, the status bar contains usefulin<strong>for</strong>mation about the current editor, build status, and debugging environment.
