•Select the main.c file.•Click OK.Your main.c file should now look like this:Next, we'll set up some project options.Setting project optionsYou have now created a simple project, and in this section we will set some options forthe project. You can set project options on any node of the solution. That is, you can set options ona solution-wide basis, on a project-wide basis, on a project group basis, or on anindividual file basis. For instance, options that you set on a solution are inherited by allprojects in that solution, by all groups in each of those projects, and then by all files ineach of those groups. If you set an option further down in the hierarchy, that settingwill be inherited by nodes that are children of (or grandchildren of) that node. The waythat options are inherited provides a very powerful way to customize and manageyour projects.Changing the ARM architectureIn this instance, we will set up the targeted ARM architecture to be v5T. As we will berunning the example on the simulator it doesn't matter which architecture we target asthe simulator will simulate the architecture specified in the project. To change thetargeted ARM architecture:•Right click the Tutorial project in the Project Explorer and select Properties fromthe menuthe Project Options dialog appears.•Click the Configuration dropdown and change to the Common configuration.Chapter 2Setting project options19
