MANIFESTOI, AJIT KUMAR (111030027), standing for the post of SPORTSSECRETARY propose to do the following if elected:INTER HOSTEL Work in coordination with the Sports Councilor with the aim toachieve top laurels for the hostel in various institute level events, themain focus being on the Sports General Championship. Ensure that teams of main GC are formed well in advanced and theyget enough practice. I will make sure that there will be cheering people for every interhostel event and with cooperation with mess council, I will try toprovide ample refreshment during the inter hostel outdoor events. Will highlight the names of best players of GC (by scrap book) .INTRA HOSTEL I will make sure that following events will be held as previously:1. Sophie Footer intra2. Woofle3. Volley intra4. TT intra ,carom/chess intra5. Cricket intra6. Baddi intra I will make a mailing list of enthu people for each sport.NEW PROPOSALS I will try to introduce the Frisbee intra & Foos Ball. Will propose for the gum sole shoes to be issued in hostel. Will try to allocate the senior mentors ( enthusiastic seniors) for eachsports .There will be Team Meet before every GC .MAINTAINANCE WORK I will ensure that the first aid kit is well equipped with band-aid,bandage, antiseptic, glucon-D and relispray. I will see to it that the Carom boards, pool, foosball and table tennistables are maintained.

In cooperation with maint council I will ensure the proper condition offields, and sports equipments. I will replace/repair the damagedequipment regularly. Will try to maintain a proper account of all the hostel sportsresources like jerseys, volleyball, football, nets, hockey sticks, cricketbats. Will keep a tab on where the resources are being distributed andshall collect them back after the event.OTHER Extend full support to the elected Council in its proper day to dayfunctioning. Work with full enthu in PAF, Valfi and other hostelevents. I will work in cooperation with other council members to serve thehostel and to improve the sports condition in the hostel.CREDENTIALS Special Mention in Sports in Freshie year (H1) . Won Silver in hockey in Freshie GC . Played volleyball, hockey in Hostel GC . Played Volleyball , Hockey , Cricket , Athletics (Long Jump) in FreshieGC .PROPOSED By :Himanshu Jain(Room No. 87)
