Cultural Competency VisionIn 2000, <strong>Community</strong> <strong>Care</strong> developed the following Cultural Competency statement, withinput from a group of network providers, community representatives, and oversightentities.Our vision <strong>for</strong> an effective and accessible behavioral health system of care leads withhigh-quality services that improve the health and well-being of our community. Our goalis to offer a system, ultimately free of barriers to obtaining services, comprised ofintegrated, balanced, and responsive mental health and substance abuse care.
