Invocation for Layover (Stopping <strong>Al</strong>ong .the Way) on the Journey .'A'oothu bikalimaatil-­‐laahit-­‐taammaati min sharri maa khalaqa. “I seek refuge in the Perfect Words of <strong>Al</strong>lah from the evil of what He has created.” (Ahmad) How to Seek <strong>Al</strong>lah’s Protection .for Children .'U'eethukumaa bikalimaatil-­‐laahit-­‐taammati min kulli shaytaanin wa haammatin, wa min kulli 'aynin laammah. “I seek protection for you in the Perfect Words of <strong>Al</strong>lah from every devil <strong>and</strong> every beast, <strong>and</strong> from every envious blameworthy eye.” (Bukhari) . (Abu Dawud 4/325, At-­‐Tirmithi 5/490) Whoever Says This 100 Times a Day | ... Laa 'ilaaha 'illallaahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul-­‐mulku wa lahul-­‐hamdu wa Huwa 'alaa kulli shay'in Qadeer. .. “None has the right to be worshipped but <strong>Al</strong>lah alone, He has no partner, His is the dominion <strong>and</strong> His is the praise, <strong>and</strong> He is Able to do all things.” (Bukhari, Muslim) The Prophet Said: Whoever recites this one hundred times a day will have the reward of freeing ten slaves. One hundred Hasanaat (rewards) will be written for him <strong>and</strong> one hundred misdeeds will be washed away. He will be shielded from Shaytaan until the evening. No one will be able to present anything better than this except for someone who has recited more than this.
