Battery ReplacementLOA “LO” annunciator in the LCD alerts you whenbattery power is running low. The replacementbatteries are 4 alkaline “AAA”.Caution: Power off the meter when changingbatteries. ▲Connecting the Electrode and Temperature SensorTo connect the electrode into meter, align theconnector slots with the posts of meter’s socketand rotate the connector clockwise until it locks.Do not force when connecting. To remove, simplyrotate the connector in anti-clockwise direction untilit unlocks, and slide the connector off the socket.Insert the mini phono jack of the temperaturesensor into the socket on the meter. Unplug thephono jack when it is not in use or if you measurepH without any temperature compensation.Condition the pH ElectrodeCondition the pH electrode before use or if it has not been in use for a long time. Thiscan be done by soaking it into a container filled with pH 4 buffer solution for at least1 hour.
