The researchers speculatethat the polyphenol antioxidants in wine may promote a betterbalance of bacteria. The study participants benefited from 9 ouncesof wine a day (about two glasses).SEE CLEARLY, EAT WISELYDon’t hide your apples in those refrigerator bins. You’ll eat morefruit if you can see it, a St. Bonaventure University studyreports. People ate more apples from a clear bowl within arm’sreach than from an opaque bowl set the same distance away. Thesight of fruit may prompt your brain to think of sweetness, stimulatingits reward regions and encouraging you to take a bit, the studyauthors say.3
