ANJAN DASAnjan Das began as an assistant director toBibhuti Roy, a noted short-film maker butsoon graduated to directing his debut featureSainik in 1975. the film was screened at theBerlin Mannheim and Teheran <strong>Film</strong> <strong>Festival</strong>s.Post his second feature film in Nepali language,Arko Janma(1984), Anjan returned to cinemaafter a gap <strong>of</strong> nearly 20 years, with SanjhbatirRoopkahara(Strokes and Silhouettes). After the success <strong>of</strong> thisfilm, Anjan has directed Iti Srikanto and Faltu, two highlyacclaimed feature films.
