Only Zero Calibration (355 I.S.):1. From the Weigh Mode, press [1] [0] [0] [SELECT].2. Press [5] [4] [3] [2] ]1] [ENTER].3. Press [SELECT] [SELECT] [SELECT].4. Remove any load on the scale.5. Press [ENTER] to establish zero.6. Pause for motion delay.7. Press [ENTER] to accept calibration.8. Press [ENTER] to save calibration.9. Press [ENTER] to exit calibration.5.2.6 Reset CalibrationCal Reset may be necessary when an over-load or under-load condition exists, preventing the completion of the calibration process. Calibration Reset adjusts the zeroand gain factors of the A/D amplifier to factory default values for maximum sensitivity. After performing a calibration reset, a complete recalibration is required. The effects ofa calibration reset do not take effect until the Model 350/355 I.S. is recalibrated andcalibration information has been saved. If Code 02 (under-load) or Code 03 (over-load) is displayed during calibration, press[ZERO] or [CLR] to perform a calibration reset.Reset Calibration Gain Factors (350 I.S.):1. Press [ZERO] + [SELECT].2. Press [ZERO] [PRINT] [UNITS] [TARE].3. Remove any load on the scale.4. Press [TARE] to establish zero.5. Place a test weight on scale.6. Press [ZERO].7. Remove any load on the scale.8. Press [TARE] to establish zero.9. Pause for motion delay.10. Place a test weight on scale.11. Enter the test weight value with the [PRINT] and [UNITS] keys.12. Press [TARE] to establish span.122Model 350 I.S. and Model 355 I.S. Service Manual

Press [ENTER] to save calibration.16. Press [ENTER] to exit calibration.17. Remove the calibration weight.5.2.7 Multi-Point LinearizationIf the load cell signal input to the indicator has good repeatability and stability, thenusing multi-point linearization during calibration may significantly improve the ultimateaccuracy of the data displayed by the indicator. Parameter 119 (P119) enables ordisables this feature. Initially, the same basic procedures as a normal calibration areused to perform a multi-point linearization. All of the prompts provided will be exactlythe same as a standard calibration for each cal point up to the Cal ~ Good? prompt. If items are consistantly being weighed on either the high or low end of the cell capacity, the points of calibration can be skewed to either end of the spectrum. Multi-pointlinearization can compensate for a cell that is non-linear. Refer to page 117 for theinstructions on how to enter the calibration mode.Model 350 I.S. and Model 355 I.S. Service Manual 123
