She has a Bachelor ofCommerce degree from the University of South Africa.Dr Sean PhillipsNon-executive DirectorDr Sean Phillips is the Chief Operations Officer in the National Department of Public Works.He has been involved in Community Public Works Programmes and Labour IntensiveConstruction Programmes since 1993 including at provincial levels. He has a Doctorate inCivil Engineering and Master’s degrees in Project Management and Public Management.Jeffrey du PreezNon-executive DirectorJeffrey du Preez is the Chief Director of the Skills Development <strong>Fund</strong>ing in the Departmentof Labour. He was previously involved with export credit reinsurance with the Department ofTrade and Industry and was Senior Deputy Chief Education Specialist for Arts, Culture, Sportand <strong>Youth</strong> Affairs in the Department of Education, Culture and Sport (Eastern Cape). He hasa Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Higher Diploma in Education from the University ofthe Western Cape.Maphomolo TsikiNon-executive DirectorMaphomolo Tsiki is the Chief Executive Officer of Technology for Women in Business(TWIB) which is the Department of Trade and Industry (the dti) initiative. It is implementedin partnership with the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). Her currentresponsibilities focus on accelerating the empowerment of women and the developmentof women-owned enterprises through technology. Prior to joining TWIB, she servedin the dti in different capacities, mainlyas Chief Director Investment Services andIncentives Administration. Maphomolohas a background in pharmacy and hasserved the pharmaceutical sector for17 years. She holds a Bachelor of Sciencedegree from the National University ofLesotho, a Bachelor of Pharmacy from theUniversity of Nairobi, a Master of Sciencedegree in Pharmaceutical Technology(Cum Laude) from Kings College inLondon and a Postgraduate Certificatein Financial Health Management (CumLaude) from Potchefstroom Universityfor Christian Higher Education. Sheserves in an advisory capacity in variousorganisations.Vuyiswa TuleloNon-executive DirectorVuyiswa Tulelo is a Commissioner in theNational <strong>Youth</strong> Commission. She hasserved as the Deputy Secretary General ofthe ANC <strong>Youth</strong> League from 2001 to date.While she was a student, she served aspart of the leadership of the South AfricanStudents’ Congress.
