Number of starts per hour [225]This menu is available if start limitation is enabled in menu[224]. In this menu the allowed number of starts per hour isconfigured. If this number is exceeded, an F11 alarm occursand the action chosen in menu [224] is performed. If both protection methodsmentioned above are activated, the shown time is the totaltime delay to the next start, which is allowed by both methods.8.3.3 Locked rotorThis alarm is used to avoid high motor current due to amechanically locked rotor. If the operation has been interrupteddue to a locked rotor alarm, a manual reset and a newstart signal is needed to restart the motor. The reset and thestart signal can be given via control panel, remote or viaserial communication depending on the control source chosenin menu [200]. Regardless of the chosen control source,it is always possible to initiate a reset via the control panel.NOTE: A reset via the control panel will never start themotor.Locked rotor [228]Locked rotor alarm is activated in this menu by choosing aproper alarm action.2 2 8oLocked rotor alarm (Alarm codeF5)Default: oFFRange: oFF, 1, 2oFFLocked rotor alarm is disabled.1 Warning2 CoastLocked rotor time [229]This menu is available if Locked rotor alarm is enabled inmenu [228]. NOTE: Check that the motor current is configuredproperly in menu [211].8.3.4 Phase input failureAll phase input failures shorter than 100 ms are ignored.Multiple phase input failureIf the failure duration time is above 100 ms, operation istemporary stopped and a new soft start is made if the failuredisappears within 2 s. If the failure duration time is longerthan 2 s an F1 alarm occurs and the voltage to the motorremains off. During deceleration, regardless of the failureduration time, the motor voltage is automatically switchedoff and the motor freewheels until it stops.Single phase input failureDuring acceleration and deceleration the behaviour is thesame as described above for multiple phase input failure.When running with full voltage, the softstarter can be configuredfor different actions in the event of a single phaseinput failure (menu [230]).A phase input failure alarm is automatically reset when anew start signal is given. The start signal can be given viacontrol panel, remote or via serial communication dependingon the control source chosen in menu 200. Regardless ofthe chosen control source, it is always possible to initiate areset via the control panel.NOTE: A reset via the control panel will never start themotor.Single phase input failure [230]The softstarter’s action on a single phase input failure occurringduring full voltage running can be configured in thismenu. In the event of a single phase input failure, alarm F1is activated after 2 s (see description above) and the chosenaction is performed. The alarm remains active until the failuredisappears.8.3.5 Current limit start time expiredIf current limit at start is activated in menu [314], an F4alarm can be activated if the operation is still at current limitwhen the configured start time has expired. A current limitstart time expired alarm is automatically reset when a newstart signal is given. The start signal can be given via controlpanel, remote or via serial communication depending on thecontrol source chosen in menu [200].
