G 6Three-axle diesel-hydrauliclocomotive for heavyshunting serviceDiesel locomotive of the G 6 seriesThis shunting locomotive features a simpleand robust design optimised for shuntingoperation in local networks. It meets thenew statutory standards (emissions, etc.)and the requirements for EBO approval.Tried and tested modules and componentsfrom the Vossloh locomotive family anda broad selection of accessories reliablyensure future-oriented and versatileapplication.The robust locomotive chassis withoptional crash energy absorbers featuresdouble front walls and robust tracksweepers on each face end. It is preparedfor different equipment variants. Spacious,convenient stairs and shunting steps leadto the lateral walkways.The superstructure made of separatelydetachable sections has an easy tomaintain, simple design with largedoors.
