New Yamaha F30 och F40
– first outboards with integral anti-theft system
Well, as you might expect, the first manufacturer
to recognize and act on that widespread thought
is Yamaha, with the introduction of its innovative
new YCOP system which features on the brand
new F40 and F30 models for 2009. YCOP (Yamaha
Customer Outboard Protection) is simple, easy to
use and effective – with a neat and simple remote
control that locks and unlocks the engine at the
push of a button. Just like your car in fact!
Digital efficiency. These engines have the
technology pre-installed to link to Yamaha’s
amazing digital network system and its range
of Digital Network Gauges. The gauges themselves
are available as an option, offering the
ultimate in convenience, accuracy, clarity and
control. What’s more, with the gauges linked via
the network system, you benefit from Yamaha’s
exclusive and very useful variable trolling speed
function (VTS).
Turnkey Reliability. EFI - electronic multi-point
fuel injection - along with newly designed throttle

valves, a longer intake manifold track and a
new engine management computer (Electronic
Control Module) bring you turnkey starts, quiet
operation, impressive acceleration and high top
speed. But that’s not all - both these engines
deliver outstanding fuel efficiency and economy,
while still exceeding the standards set for all
environmental regulations.
