His experience in architecturaldesign, however, adds to the Mad Doc team an expertise in the conceptualization &manipulation of virtual space & structure. He holds a Master of Architecture fromHarvard’s Graduate School of Design along with a Master of Science in StructuralEngineering from MIT and a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College. Hisarchitectural experience ranges from housing projects in Switzerland to urbanplanning & academic buildings in the United States. Along with the Mad Doc offices,Mark’s design work shows prominently in the Borg stations & ships in <strong>Star</strong> <strong>Trek</strong><strong>Armada</strong> <strong>II</strong>.Rick KnoxRick Knox is an experienced modder first making models forthe original <strong>Star</strong> <strong>Trek</strong> <strong>Armada</strong>. He co-founded a groupcalled Apoc Entertainment, which has developed severalmods for <strong>Armada</strong>, most notably Federation and Empire, apopular Kirk era conversion. After modding for <strong>Star</strong> fleetcommand in the private sector, he was contracted to workon the sequel called <strong>Star</strong> Fleet Command: Orion Pirates.Rick is new to the gaming industry with only two gamesunder his belt. But he is excited about the future of gamingand excited to begin work in the game biz.
