Regulations Regarding the Use of the GymnasiumGym HoursMonday through Saturday - 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.Sunday - 12 noon - 7:00 p.m.Fitness Center opens: 6:00 a.m. - Monday through SaturdayClosed: New Year=s Day, Martin Luther King Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day,Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas DayFitness CenterThose EligibleGym Usage - ChildrenSeminary GroupsOutside GroupsRules:1. Children 12 and under are not permitted to use the Fitness Center at any time2. Children 13 to 17 must be accompanied by an adult at all times3. Spotters are required at all free weight equipment4. Return all weights back to the racks5. Wipe down all exercise equipment after each workout6. Maximum of 20 minutes per exercise machine is allowed7. Stereo and TV should not be played too loud and not played before 8:00 a.m.or after 10:00 p.m.8. Fitness Center closed for cleaning Monday through Friday10:15 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.Members of the Seminary community including students, faculty, administration,staff, visiting scholars, CTI; including their spouse and children and/or legaldependants, and Continuing Education guests. Seminary ID cards must becarried at all times.Children of members of the Seminary community ages 13-17 may use thegymnasium facilities other than the Fitness Center without beingaccompanied by an adult providing the AParental Consent Form forMinors@ is completed by the parent as part of the process of obtaining anID Card. Children age 12 and under must be accompanied by and adult atall times and cannot have an id card.Seminary Groups should schedule their use of the gym is through the IntramuralDirectorOutside Groups may use the gym when approved and authorized by the Directorof the Office of Housing and Auxiliary Services. Proper insurance coverage mustbe provided. Scheduling is done through the Office of Housing and AuxiliaryServices, 609.497.7730. Outside groups are only allowed to use the facilitiesthey have been scheduled to use during their allotted time.All groups/individuals must have the appropriate footwear and should plan onbringing their own equipment [basketball, volleyballs, etc.]. A volley ball net andstanchions are provided.LockersThe top row of the gymnasium lockers may be reserved through the Office ofHousing and Auxiliary Services. The bottom row of lockers is for daily use onlyand cannot be reserved. Lockers are not for long term storage nor are theyconsidered as personal lockers. Lockers that are not reserved will have locks cutoff and personal items in the locker discarded.

Court is closed from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. - Mondaythrough Friday for cleaning.The Intramural Director schedules all Seminary groups who wish to usethe court Monday through Friday - 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. Outside groupsmay use the facility with permission from the Office of Housing andAuxiliary Services on Saturdays, from 9:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. Thebasketball court is closed for cleaning from 10:15 a.m. - 12:00 noon -Monday through Friday.Only proper white soled sneakers can be worn to use any of thecourt facilities.Doors are open during normal gym hours. The schedule is posted on thedoor. The room may be reserved through the Office of Housing andAuxiliary Services for gym related activities only.Members of the Seminary age 18 and over, may bring two [2] guests pervisit. The guest must be accompanied by the member at all times. Theguest must sign in the log book each time with the Seminary member.Children 17 and under may not bring guests at any time.Immediate family members of employees and students who are eligible touse the gym must obtain a photo id card from the Office of Housing andAuxiliary Services. The cost is $5.00 per family member and is valid forone [1] academic year at a time.Revised 6/07
