102Revisiting Police Lawscommitted against the said Act;(d) affect any investigation, legal proceeding or remedy in respect <strong>of</strong> any such right, privilege,obligation, liability, penalty, forfeiture or punishment as aforesaid;and any such investigation, legal proceeding or remedy may be instituted, continued or enforced,and any such penalty, forfeiture or punishment may be imposed, as if the said Act has not beenrepealed; and(e) affect any proceeding pending in any court or before any authority under the said Act, and anysuch proceeding and any appeal or revision arising out <strong>of</strong> such proceeding shall be continued,instituted or disposed <strong>of</strong>, as if the said Act had not been repealed.186. Existing police deemed to be constituted under this Order. - Without prejudice to the provisions containedin Article 185, the police functioning in the Provinces and in Islamabad Capital Territory immediately before thecommencement <strong>of</strong> this Order shall on such commencement be deemed to be police constituted under this Order.125[186-A. Power to amend the Schedules. The Federal Government may, by notification in the <strong>of</strong>ficial Gazette,amend any Schedule.]187. Power to remove difficulties. -(1) If any difficulty arises in giving effect to the provisions <strong>of</strong> this Order, theGovernment may, by notification in the Official Gazette, make such provisions as appear to be necessary or expedientfor removing the difficulty:Provided that no such notification shall be issued after the expiry <strong>of</strong> two years from the commencement<strong>of</strong> this Order.(2) Every notification issued under this Article shall be laid before the Parliament or the ProvincialAssembly, as the case may be.
