Article 20ARTICLE 20.JURISDICTIONAL DISPUTES(a) In <strong>the</strong> event that any dispute should arise between any Local Unions, partiesto this <strong>Agreement</strong>, Supplements or Riders <strong>the</strong>reto, or between any Local Union, party tothis <strong>Agreement</strong>, Supplements or Riders <strong>the</strong>reto, and any o<strong>the</strong>r Union relating tojurisdiction over employees or operations covered by such <strong>Agreement</strong>s, <strong>the</strong> Employerand <strong>the</strong> Local Union(s) agree to accept and comply with <strong>the</strong> decision or settlement of<strong>the</strong> Unions or Union bodies which have <strong>the</strong> authority to determine such dispute, andsuch disputes shall not be submitted to arbitration under this <strong>Agreement</strong> or under anyLocal Supplement and/or Rider.(b) The Employer will be notified by <strong>the</strong> Local Union of <strong>the</strong> existence of any suchjurisdictional dispute which may create Pension Fund withdrawal liabilities for <strong>the</strong>Employer. In those cases, <strong>the</strong> Employer shall be permitted to provide relevantinformation on that potential liability. In no event shall this provision create any financialliability for <strong>the</strong> International Union or its affiliates.(c) Such disputes shall not be submitted by any party <strong>the</strong>reto, or affected<strong>the</strong>reby, to legal or administrative agency proceedings for determination. Pending suchdetermination, <strong>the</strong> Employer shall not be precluded from seeking appropriate legal oradministrative relief against work stoppages or picketing in fur<strong>the</strong>rance of such dispute.ARTICLE 21.MULTI-EMPLOYER, MULTI-UNION UNITAttached to this <strong>Agreement</strong> as Appendix A is a list of <strong>the</strong> Employers that are membersof <strong>the</strong> <strong>National</strong> <strong>Automobile</strong> <strong>Transporters</strong> Labor Division and, prior to <strong>the</strong> negotiation ofthis <strong>Agreement</strong>, authorized <strong>the</strong> Association to negotiate and sign this 2008-2011collective bargaining agreement covering all of <strong>the</strong>ir terminals and operations. TheseEmployers participate in <strong>the</strong> multi-employer, multi-union bargaining unit established bythis <strong>National</strong> <strong>Master</strong> <strong>Agreement</strong> and <strong>the</strong> Supplements <strong>the</strong>reto.The parties fur<strong>the</strong>r agree to participate in joint negotiations of any modification orrenewal of this <strong>National</strong> <strong>Master</strong> <strong>Agreement</strong> and Supplements <strong>the</strong>reto, and to remain apart of <strong>the</strong> multi-employer, multi-union bargaining unit set forth in such renewed<strong>Agreement</strong> and Supplements.56
