Article 8Section 5.GrievancesWithin five (5) working days of filing a grievance claiming violation of this Article, <strong>the</strong>grievance shall be submitted directly to <strong>the</strong> <strong>National</strong> Joint Arbitration Committee withouttaking any intermediate steps, any o<strong>the</strong>r provision of this <strong>Agreement</strong> to <strong>the</strong> contrarynotwithstanding.ARTICLE 9.BONDSShould <strong>the</strong> Employer require any employee to give bond, cash bond shall not becompulsory, and any premium involved shall be paid by <strong>the</strong> Employer. The primaryobligation to procure <strong>the</strong> bond shall be on <strong>the</strong> Employer. If <strong>the</strong> Employer cannot arrangefor a bond within ninety (90) days, <strong>the</strong> Employer must so notify <strong>the</strong> employee in writing.Failure to so notify shall relieve <strong>the</strong> employee of <strong>the</strong> bonding requirement. If proper noticeis given, <strong>the</strong> employee shall be allowed thirty (30) days from <strong>the</strong> date of such notice tomake personal bonding arrangements, standard premiums only on said bond to be paidby <strong>the</strong> Employer. A standard premium shall be that premium paid by <strong>the</strong> Employer forbonds applicable to all o<strong>the</strong>r of its employees in similar classifications. Any excesspremium is to be paid by <strong>the</strong> employee. Cancellation of a bond after once issued shall notbe cause for discharge, unless <strong>the</strong> bond is canceled for cause which occurs during workinghours or due to <strong>the</strong> employee having given a fraudulent statement in obtaining said bond.Section 1.Compensation ClaimsARTICLE 10.COMPENSATION CLAIMS AND PAID LEAVEAt <strong>the</strong> time an injury report is turned in, <strong>the</strong> Employer shall provide <strong>the</strong> injured employeewith an information sheet briefly outlining <strong>the</strong> procedure for submitting a worker'scompensation claim to include <strong>the</strong> name, address and phone number of <strong>the</strong> Employer'sworker's compensation representative and o<strong>the</strong>r pertinent information relative to <strong>the</strong>claim.No employees will be disciplined or threatened with discipline as a result of filing an on<strong>the</strong>-jobinjury report. The Employer or its designee shall not visit an injured employee at<strong>the</strong>ir home, at a hospital, or any location outside <strong>the</strong> employee’s home terminal without<strong>the</strong> employee’s or his/her designee’s prior written consent.41
