On the onehand the direct machining timebenefits from the high headspeeds, on the other hand verylow non-productive times can beachieved with the VH 5 duringapproach and withdrawal, repositioning,etc.Intelligent extraction systemThe VH 5 is equipped with aunique, integrated extractionsystem. The system is based oninternal extraction. The particularhighlight is a suction hoodcontrolled by its own NC-axis.This enables efficient extractioneven with the most complicatedcontours. This is a great advantageparticularly for critical materialswhere chips and dust areconcerned such as carbon fibre.Fields of applicationThe VH 5 milling head is particularlysuitable when millingstrategies often used on themachine require extreme movementsof the head within a shortspace of time, as in simultaneousmachining.
