The W<strong>inMOD</strong> Configuration I300 was developed for the use of W<strong>inMOD</strong> <strong>with</strong> control systems of B&R<br />

(Bernecker + Rainer).<br />

The I300 Configuration is connected ove TCP/IP protocoll <strong>with</strong> B&R Systems. There<strong>with</strong> it is possible<br />

to connect all variants of Automation Runtime (ARemb, ARwin <strong>and</strong> ARsim) <strong>with</strong> W<strong>inMOD</strong>.

W<strong>inMOD</strong>_Konfig_i300_en.cdr The W<strong>inMOD</strong> Configuration <strong>Software</strong> provides the user interface for the interface<br />

parameterization <strong>and</strong> logical data transfer.<br />

After the installation of the software the driver „I300 B&R Windows IO“ is loaded <strong>and</strong> configured<br />

in the W<strong>inMOD</strong> Project tree.<br />

An optimal workflow consists of:<br />

1. Online import of the simulated IO-tag structure from the connected B&R Controller.<br />

2. Direct tag name import from Automation-Studio (e.g. over clipboard from the I/O-mapping<br />

tables.<br />

<strong>and</strong> ensures minimal configuration effort.<br />

The W<strong>inMOD</strong> Configuration I300 was developed for B&R Controller in cooperation <strong>with</strong> B&R. This<br />

configuration provides a cost effective (<strong>with</strong>out any special hardware) <strong>and</strong> rational simulation of all<br />

B&R specific I/O system as basis for the realisation of the Virtual Commissioning.<br />

The system coupling takes place over TCP/IP <strong>with</strong> a special developed transfer algorithm <strong>and</strong> can<br />

be used for all real B&R Controller <strong>with</strong> available B&R driver “WinIO V1 Protocol Version V1“ as<br />

well as <strong>with</strong> the virtual, in Automation-Studio integrated controller ARsim.<br />

In Automation-Studio only the ’’ WinIO V1 Protocol Version V1’’ driver is to insert into the AS project.<br />

Afterwards every IO channel can be approved or blocked for simulation access.<br />
