POD Point Twin<strong>user</strong> <strong>instructions</strong>Preparations for chargingThe following car charging procedure has been formulated as a generic guidefor charging from the POD Point Twin Electric Vehicle <strong>Charge</strong>r.<strong>Charge</strong> points on the <strong>Charge</strong> <strong>Your</strong> <strong>Car</strong> network can all be activated using a<strong>Charge</strong> <strong>Your</strong> <strong>Car</strong> RFID Lifetime <strong>Car</strong>d and by using the pay by phone IVR(interactive voice recognition) system. In addition, a growing number of chargepoints can also be accessed using the <strong>Charge</strong> <strong>Your</strong> <strong>Car</strong> app. The following<strong>instructions</strong> refer to operation using an RFID card, however when using one ofthe other access methods, the same charging procedure will be initiated.All POD Point Twin chargers have two sockets which allows two cars to becharged at the same time. Some of these chargers give drivers a choice ofeither a 3kw / 13 Amp charge or a 7kw / 32 Amp charge - and the chargersare clearly labelled on either side.To START chargingHold your CYC Lifetime <strong>Car</strong>d to the charger reader. The screen respondsbetter if the CYC Lifetime <strong>Car</strong>d is held vertically (as shown).Display at 0.5 secondsOpens right hand door: The screen will respond by displaying an arrowwhich points at the door side which will open.
