I.e., take <strong>the</strong> synoptic forc<strong>in</strong>g and<strong>the</strong>n add <strong>the</strong> mesoscale structure.• Models are beg<strong>in</strong>n<strong>in</strong>g to capture many <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>larger mesoscale features – both good and bad.
