<strong>Vienna</strong> <strong>International</strong> Hotelmanagement AG<br />
<strong>Vienna</strong> <strong>International</strong> Hotelmanagement AG, founded in 1989, operates and develops a total of<br />
29 first-class hotels & resorts and 2 hotel projects on the basis of individual management<br />
contracts. The portfolio includes a Leading Hotel of the World and comprises city-, resort-, spa- and<br />
conference hotels. These hotels are located in nine European countries: Austria, the Czech<br />
Republic, Poland, Croatia, France, Romania, Germany, Russia and Slovakia.<br />
In Austria the group manages the hotels Martinspark in Dornbirn, Castellani Parkhotel in Salzburg<br />
and the Loipersdorf Spa & Conference in the Thermenland Styria.<br />
In the Czech capital of Prague, <strong>Vienna</strong> <strong>International</strong> operates seven hotels, including the 5-star hotels<br />
Le Palais Prague and Palace Hotel Praha as well as the 4-star hotels andel’s, angelo and<br />
Diplomat. The andel’s Suites are a popular choice among business guests looking for long-term<br />
accommodation. The 3-star hotel Chopin is close to Wenceslas Square. Other hotels in the Czech<br />
Republic are the 4-star Dvořák Spa Hotel in Carlsbad, which offers a variety of spa services<br />
including the special F.X. Mayr cure and the angelo Hotel Pilsen, which opened in 2008.<br />
In Poland, <strong>Vienna</strong> <strong>International</strong> Hotelmanagement AG has been successfully active on the market<br />
since 1991. In that year, <strong>Vienna</strong> <strong>International</strong> opened the 4-star Amber Baltic Hotel in Międzyzdroje<br />
on Poland’s Amber Coast. Since 2004 further hotels have joined the group, such as the Chopin and<br />
andel’s hotel in Cracow, the andel’s in Łódź in May 2009, and the angelo Katowice in March 2010.<br />
Since the summer of 2005 <strong>Vienna</strong> <strong>International</strong> has been managing and operating the hotels Bristol,<br />
Astoria and Opatija in the city of Opatija on the Croatian Riviera, as well as the Hotel Apoksiomen<br />
located on the island of Mali Lošinj.<br />
In France <strong>Vienna</strong> <strong>International</strong> entered the market in 2006 with the acquisition of a management<br />
contract for the Dream Castle Hotel as well as the Magic Circus Hotel a few months later. Both<br />
hotels are located at Disneyland® Resort Paris.
In addition to that, <strong>Vienna</strong> <strong>International</strong> Hotelmanagement AG is represented in Romania and<br />
Germany with hotels like the angelo Airporthotel in Bucharest, the angelo Designhotel in Munich<br />
and the andel’s Hotel in Berlin as well as in Slovakia with the Chopin Hotel Bratislava.<br />
The takeover of the Liner Airporthotel in Ekaterinburg in October 2008 signals the company’s entry<br />
onto the Russian market. In September 2009, almost twelve months later, the angelo Airporthotel<br />
Ekaterinburg opened – also on the airport Ekaterinburg-Koltsovo.<br />
The hotels managed by VI generated approximately € 175 million in revenues from 2.4 million bed<br />
nights in 2011. The group currently employs about 2,500 employees.<br />
