It funds acontinuum of forces ranging from the covertVirginia class submarine, the multi‐missionDDG‐51 destroyer, the multi‐role LandingHelicopter Assault Replacement (LHA(R)), tothe Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) and the JointHigh Speed Vessel (JHSV) with their greateraccess to littoral areas.
