The Rival’s Logo and Profile” To visualize The Rival Hotel was a challenge as there was somuch to take in. I chose to display a vision in the form of aposter using typographical lettering in a colourful tivoli-stylelinking the building year 1937 with modern times. It gives ahighly personal image, unlike any other hotel, but there againthere is no other hotel to compete with The Rival and its uniquecontents. The image, which is featured in four colours and also inred and black, is applied on everything from letter heads tobusiness cards. For The Rival Hotel’s logo I have chosen tofeature the image in the form of a projected key hole.“Maria Dahlgren is the art director and designer.Maria’s design can be seen worldwide through thechain of stores ”Ordning&Reda” which she helped tostart in 1982.
