Napoca, is suitable for<br />
the establishment of<br />
sown pastures, same as<br />
for becoming<br />
overgrown with grass<br />
for the channel slopes.<br />
The synthetic variety<br />
VIO JUCU is winter<br />
hardiness, drought and<br />
trampling resistant,<br />
with an very good rich<br />
foliage and a high<br />
potential for<br />
production: 12-14 t<br />
S.U./ha and 800-1300<br />
kg seed/ha.<br />
This hop cultivar is<br />
semilate, with an<br />
average vegetation<br />
period of 138 days. The<br />
cones are oval (rich in<br />
lupuline); the average<br />
yields: 2, 5-2, 8 t/ha dry<br />
cones. It is one of the<br />
bitter (superalfa)<br />
cultivars, mediumflavored,<br />
with a high<br />
content of alfa acids<br />
(13, 8-14, 5%); with<br />
production 340-360<br />
kg/ha alfa-acids (is<br />
much higher than that<br />
of other hop cultivars<br />
cultivated in our<br />
country). It is resistant<br />
to manna, mil<strong>de</strong>wpow<strong>de</strong>r<br />
and tolerant to<br />
aphi<strong>de</strong>s.<br />
