<strong>PATA</strong> <strong>Gold</strong> <strong>Awards</strong> <strong>2013</strong>The Pacific Asia Travel Association <strong>Gold</strong> <strong>Awards</strong> recognises exceptional achievementin a variety of endeavours, acknowledging and rewarding the very best that the AsiaPacific’s travel industry has to offer. The winning projects set industry standards forexcellence and innovation, serving as examples for others to follow.In addition to the 26 <strong>Gold</strong> <strong>Awards</strong>, <strong>PATA</strong> will present up to four Grand <strong>Awards</strong> for bestof show entries in the following broad categories: Environment, Education & Training,Heritage & Culture and Marketing Campaign.All award recipients will be honoured at the Award Presentation during the <strong>2013</strong><strong>PATA</strong> Travel Mart in Chengdu, China. They will also be on display at the Mart for alldelegates to enjoy.<strong>GOLD</strong> <strong>AWARDS</strong><strong>2013</strong>Winning a <strong>PATA</strong> <strong>Gold</strong> Award gives a major boost to a company’s marketing and publicrelations profile. The winning entries will be featured in the Mart daily newspaper,<strong>PATA</strong> Compass magazine and will also enjoy the benefit of gaining internationalmedia exposure as a result of press releases and other news material.All winners receive complimentary copies of the <strong>PATA</strong> <strong>Gold</strong> <strong>Awards</strong> <strong>2013</strong> winners’showcase, a CD-Rom summarising the highlights of each winning entry.Entries will be judged by travel industry experts. The Travel Journalism category isopen to all published writers and photographers.All entries must promote <strong>PATA</strong>-member destinations or <strong>PATA</strong>membercompanies or organisations. Entries must have beenimplemented, released or published during the 2012 calendaryear. Programmes and products that were significantly revised in2012 are also eligible.<strong>PATA</strong> Allied Partner destinations are entitled to participate in theMarketing Campaign Award for Allied Partner category (AP) only.Multiple entries are encouraged, provided that each entry isaccompanied by an entry form and fee.Collateral entered as part of a Marketing Campaign category mayalso be entered for Marketing Media categories but a separateentry fee and entry form must accompany the collateral.IMPORTANT: Please submit entries and representative samplesof supporting material in soft copy only (DOC or PDF files andcommon electronic files low resolution for review only, suchas JPG and MP4).
