Their compact size andease of installation make them ideallysuited to a variety of mining applications.These units require little maintenance, theyare mainly used outdoors where there is arequirement for linear motion, such as flopgates, opening and closing of roof and doors,coal sampling units and trouser, leg chutes,and clam shell for Reclaimer Tunnels,TSUBAKI Power Cylinders consists of anenclosed electric motor fitted with a DCbrake rated 150% load capacity, overtravel protection and load limiting frictiondiscs. It uses a gear set, ball screw and nutto extend and retract the rod end.As a standard for tropical applications wecan have the unit painted with a rubberizedpaint and all non load bearings screws andfasteners supplied in stainless steel.Applications for Power Cylinders arecommonly found in mines, power stations,ports and any application where a selfcontained linear actuator with no leakyreservoir, hoses, tube fittings etc areneeded to operate this unit.As well as being extremely sturdy, thePower Cylinder has either Trunnion orClevis mounting arrangements, and can befitted with stroke limit switches, rotaryencoder, potentiometer, bellows and otheraccessories. The TBtype incorporates a slipping clutch and electric Shock Relay. The TC type is equipped with athrust detection limit switch, for press stopping.Wide VariationA wide range of models are available as standard according to application, thrust and speed.Thrust force can be selected from a range of 2.45kN { 250kgf } to313kN { 32000kgf } and speed can be selected in a range from10mm/sec to 120mm/sec.Reliable OperationAll models adopt a highly efficient ball screw, silent gear, and highlyreliable brake motor.
