NEIL PRYDE RACINGwww.neilpryde.comFORMULA PRO MASTThroughout last season, our Formula racerswere demanding increasingly larger sails inorder to boost their performance. Our largestRS sails now top-out at 12.5 metres. This inturn, resulted in demands for longer masts - allof which need to withstand increasingly greatercompression loads. The Formula Pro has been developed usingstate of the art carbon engineering and hasbeen designed exclusively for use with the largesizes of the RS Racing sail (9.8 - 12.5*). Madefrom 100% carbon, the Formula Pro is the highestHIGH WIND / SLALOM SIZES530cm IMCS34/TBA580cm IMCS37/TBAperformance racing mast available form NeilPryde as well as being the only reduced diameterracing mast in the world. What does this mean? Using extremely highquality carbon, we can reduce the inner wallthickness of the mast and therefore it’s diameter, reducing weight and increasing reflex speed. This creates a rig that is much more responsiveto the wind, improving the overall performanceof the sail by reducing drag and increasing thesail’s speed. The smaller sizes of the RS line have been developed over many years, particularly during theprevious seasons of World Cup slalom competitions. As a consequence, these sails are lessinfluenced by the dramatic development shifts in the Formula windsurfing scene. We are thereforeoffering sails from 5.0 to 7.3* in fixed designs that will remain unchanged throughout the season.CARBON RACE BOOMX7 CARBON XTX7 CARBON UXTRACE BASE RACE U-BASEFORMULA PRO MAST - RECOMMENDED FOR 9.8 - 12.5X7 MAST - RECOMMENDED FOR 5.0 - 9.034*Sizes subject to change without prior notice.
