Thedifference between the Street Racer and the RS is that the street Racer is easier to rig and handle– and that’s because it has fewer cams. Cams are fixed to the end of the batten as it grips the mast– this helps the batten rotate when you gybe the sail. Most importantly, it helps bend the batteninto a nice deep curve – locking in the power and keeping it there – even at high speeds. If you’renot a full-on racer and you don’t have a pit crew to help you rig and tune – then three cams aremore than enough.
