2940: Drafting and Computer Drafting Technology
This program prepares an individual to work as a drafter by providing in-depth
knowledge of drafting principles as well as computer-aided drafting. The program
is designed to prepare the student to work in the major fields of technology,
including electrical, architectural, mechanical, manufacturing, surveying, and
structural technology. It will educate the individual to compile detailed drawings
based on rough sketches, specifications and calculations made by engineers,
architects and designers. This daytime program is especially suitable for those
who have a special interest or talent for spatial visualization, but do not want an
extensive coverage of advanced mathematics or physics. Credits
