QUALITY ASSURANCE<br />
Requirements:<br />
A minimum <strong>of</strong> 15 hours is required.<br />
<strong>The</strong> need for trained quality technicians continues to grow as manufacturing<br />
increases its focus on quality as an absolute requirement in the very competitive<br />
world-wide environment. <strong>The</strong> certificate program will provide entry-level qualifications<br />
for non-degreed individuals while also <strong>of</strong>fering the opportunity for career<br />
manufacturing personnel to obtain formal quality training. All courses taken may<br />
be applied toward the AAS or BS degree in Manufacturing Engineering<br />
Technology.<br />

REAL ESTATE<br />
Requirements<br />
Pre-licensing Courses – Real Estate Sales<br />
Successful completion <strong>of</strong> the four (4) state required prelicensing courses prepares<br />
and permits students to sit for the Division <strong>of</strong> Real Estate state licensing<br />
exam in real estate sales.<br />
Certificate Program and Prelicensing – Real Estate Broker<br />
<strong>The</strong> certificate program is designed to serve the needs <strong>of</strong> the practicing real<br />
estate pr<strong>of</strong>essional and prospective real estate broker. Course <strong>of</strong>ferings are<br />
designed to allow a student to earn a Certificate in Real Estate and/or complete<br />
the course educational requirements to become licensed as a real estate broker.<br />
To receive the certificate, the student must complete the required courses with<br />
a minimum 2.00 grade-point average. A minimum <strong>of</strong> 12 credit hours must be<br />
earned in the <strong>University</strong>’s Real Estate Program.<br />
Admission<br />
All pre-licensing and certificate applicants must apply to the <strong>University</strong> and meet<br />
its admission requirements. <strong>The</strong> person wishing to pursue a certificate must sign<br />
a contract with Summit College which will indicate the required course <strong>of</strong> study<br />
and such work that may be transferred from real estate programs outside the<br />
<strong>University</strong>.<br />
