G <strong>1000</strong> <strong>BB</strong>Four axle diesel-hydraulic locomotive for heavy shunting andlight line serviceDiesel locomotive class G <strong>1000</strong> <strong>BB</strong>The multiple-purpose locomotive featuresup-to-date technology and is designed tomeet the latest environmental protectionand safety standards. The G <strong>1000</strong> is basedon the VOSSLOH Locomotive platformconcept and is built according to our modulardesign philosophy.The robust and functional layout ensureshigh availability and a long service life atlow LCC’s.High convenience is provided by theergonomical design of the driver’s cab andthe access ways. The compact airconditioning unit enables the safe andcomfortable operation of the locomotive. Allthe necessary communication technologiesare either on offer or easily adaptable.The operating range of this locomotive, withits two-stage reversing turbo transmissionand system inherent hydrodynamic brake,includes heavy shunting service as well aslight line service.
