February <strong>2010</strong>: UCC marks<br />

a milestone in doctoral<br />

education – in <strong>2009</strong>/<strong>2010</strong>,<br />

for the first time, over<br />

1,000 doctoral students<br />

were registered in UCC.<br />

This number has more<br />

than doubled since 2003,<br />

with students from all over<br />

the world now studying<br />

for doctoral degrees in<br />

almost every discipline.<br />
