• Awarded €5,000 by NAIRTL for a research project evaluating<br />
the contribution of reflective approaches to teaching and<br />
learning on the Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Fieldwork<br />
Practice and Supervision at UCC makes towards improving the<br />
quality of practice teaching and supervision on professional<br />
social work courses.<br />

• Award for Confucius Institute for Excellent Performance of<br />
<strong>2010</strong> from the Chinese Education Ministry, Hanban.<br />
Student Awards:<br />
• Chinese Studies students received more than 20 scholarships<br />
from the China Scholarship Council, the Taiwan Foundation,<br />
Shanghai <strong>University</strong> and the EU China Language Programme<br />
