Electronic or Online SourcesNote these changes in the 2009 MLA Style Manual (7 th ed.): Since URLs (web addresses) change often and since sources are oftenavailable in more than one location on the internet, you are no longer required to include the URL in your entry (unless your teacherrequires it or unless you think that readers would have a difficult time finding your source through a search engine). If you do includea URL, place it in angle brackets < >. When you cite articles from subscription databases (the databases that the Yuba CollegeLibrary subscribes to, such as Proquest and Wilson Web), you are no longer required to give the library name or city. Simply give thename of the subscription database, in italics. Always give the Medium of Publication (Web), followed by the date that you accessedthe information.
