News from <strong>the</strong> Health, Security, Safety and Environment (HSSE) CommitteeMs Sølve Ims Ottesen SOttesen@isstavanger.noIn February we have had several external inspectionsand survey:• Ergonomical survey <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> cleaningpersonnel, made by Bedriftshelsetjenesten:They suggested several areas were <strong>the</strong> cleaningpersonnel could improve <strong>the</strong>ir work day indoing <strong>the</strong> tasks in a slightly different way.•Inspection: Yearly inspection by <strong>the</strong> localfire department to ensure <strong>the</strong> building is ingood shape as regards electrical equipment, fireextinguishers, valves etc. We can be proud <strong>of</strong> ISSand <strong>the</strong> job <strong>the</strong> Vaktmesters do, <strong>the</strong> status wasvery satisfactory.• Inspection og playground equipment madeby an external specialist: No severe findings,but <strong>the</strong>y pointed out some items that shouldbe improved soon, and some to be improvedas part <strong>of</strong> “regular maintenance”.
